Welcome to "My Inner Athlete"; a podcast dedicated towards getting the sedentary active again...namely ourselves.

Ever sat on the couch so long you fear you're getting bed soars? Ever sat in your favorite rocker and felt guilty about just sitting there, and so decided to "exercise" by taking up knitting? Want to lead a healthier, more active life but don't know where to start? Well, you are not alone.

It's not just about fat; or constrictive ideas about what makes a man or woman beautiful- it's about health. Heart disease is the number one cause of deaths globally. In America, it claims more deaths than the next four leading causes of death combined. We deserve better. You deserve better. I deserve better.


Let's find "better" together. Join me on my quest to seek out My Inner Athlete, lose those thirty pounds for the umpteenth and last time and complete my second triathlon in under two hours. While we're searching, we might even find your inner athlete. She's there; she's always been there. And she most certainly wants to get to know you.
